The On-Line Fishing Charters Fleet Rigged for offshore with a full complement of fishing rods. Orca, a 1996 Boston Whaler Guardian 27', is an incredibly safe and stable platform. Her 10' beam and dual casting platforms allow anglers to fish in comfort whether amongst the rocky islands or 40 miles offshore. Orca was designed by Boston Whaler as a bulletproof enforcement tool for the U.S. Armed Forces, Coast Guard and Drug Enforcement Agency. She is powered by twin, fuel injected Yamaha 250's. This allows her to reach speeds up to 50 M.P.H. and cruise at a leisurely pace of 30 knots. Her size and weight allow us to run through seas to 6' at an incredible 20 knots. We designed her to do double duty around the rocky islands and shallow flats as well as 40 miles offshore. She is outfitted with a complete array of electronics including redundant systems for navigation and communication. This allows us to fish in foggy weather which keeps most guide boats at dockside. She carries a 48 mile radar, twin differential GPS navigation systems, color video sounder, cell phone, VHF radiotelephone and an emergency EPIRB. One of our new boats, a Conch 27' built by Edey and Duff, is a fantastic addition to our fleet. Ray Hunt, the guru of deep V hulls, designed the Conch to be able to cut through big seas yet sit comfortably in swells. She is powered by twin Yamaha 250 EFI's. There are two dedicated casting platforms which will provide anglers a safe and secure perch from which to sight and cast to fish. Our Conch has a complete array of electronics similar to the Orca's. Redundant communications and navigation systems allow us to travel during foggy days when many boats are unable to leave the dock. Designed in 1986 with input from a focus group of Key West guides, the Conch 27' provides our anglers with a unique fishing experience. We have customized her extensively to fit our needs. We have also added a third boat for use in the vast marshes and river systems found in Essex and Ipswich. This boat, a Wahoo 21' with a 150 horsepower motor will be an ideal boat for exploring these waters. While this boat is capable of working offshore it will be primarily dedicated to coastline fishing. She is outfitted with both communications and navigation equipment. Small enough to work in shallow waters and creeks, this boat will allow anglers the opportunity to cast to fish that many boats cannot access. Departing from our own private dock in Ipswich, on the backside of Crane Beach, we will be into fish within a few yards of our dock.
